We have increased our membership to 30 small schools across the state

We have increased our representation in our Executive Team, which now represents most geographical regions across the state

We have a representative attending the Tailored Systems Report Workshops

We have collaborated with the DfE Curriculum and Learning Directorate re: SA curriculum rollout and implementation and implications on micro and small school sites

We have provided consultation re: Numeracy guarantee initiative

We provide representation on the Country Strategy group – new documents focusing on facilities management and upgrades

We have ongoing representation and voice in the Principal permanency/Band A tenure initiative

We have regular collaboration with SAPPA, SASPA, Area School, Preschool, Special Schools, SASSLA, Educators SA across many initiatives

We had several representatives attending the Empowering Educators to Thrive project

We provided representation on changes to the Index of Educational Disadvantage funding model reforms
-
We have planned for and travelled out to the regions through our bi-annual Road trips– region visits to talk with small school leaders about what matters to them and how we can advocate for them.

We continue to update our 2025-2026 Strategic Plan to align with updates in DfE

We are reviewing and updating our operational procedures

We have exec members represented in the Expedition learning/collaborative learning initiatives

We continue to advocate for additional professional learning – more regional emphasis, taking the learning out of the city locations to country locations
